CAMINO de SANTIAGO Board Game
ABOUT CAMINO de SANTIAGO
"The Camino" is a UNESCO World Heritage network of pilgrimage routes leading to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, where it is believed that Saint James is buried.
Though traditionally a Catholic pilgrimage, the walk has become popular with people of all backgrounds.
To earn the official “Compostela” certificate, pilgrims must walk at least 100km (or cycle 200km) and collect stamps in their pilgrim credentials at various locations.
THE GAME
How to Play: Based on the traditional Mexican Lotería, this beautifully illustrated game introduces the Camino's landmarks, traditions and symbols.
One player draws and announces cards. Each player marks matching images on a 'tabla' using the tokens. The first to complete a pattern yells "¡CAMINO!" to win!
Advanced Play: The caller describes each card with a story or a joke instead of naming it.
Players guess the image and mark their boards accordingly. When someone completes a pattern, they shout "¡CAMINO!". The caller then reveals the cards to verify that all matches are correct.
For extra fun, prepare small prizes for the winners of each round!
